It wont activate, I think because my husbands lap top is on his own account. If this is the problem, How do I get the lap top to think its my account and not my husbands account? You can't as it appears the Office Home and Student is associated with your husband's Microsoft Account. In other word the licence for Office belongs to your husband. The only way to do what you want to do is to transfer the licence to you. You will need to Contact Microsoft Office Support to do this. Stand-alone software acquired from a retailer.
