The Elite club is a student-run organization at Virginia State University that helps young entrepreneurs create and grow their own business. The VSU Center of Entrepreneurship supports and helps to fund the ELITE club so the organization can help existing entrepreneurial students at VSU across disciplines launch successful businesses.
Students enrolled in our club have the opportunity to:
--engage in the VSU Center for Entrepreneurship's training programs,
--apply for entrepreneurship scholarships,
--take entrepreneurship-related study abroad or domestic trips,
--shadow and learn from successful entrepreneurs,
--network with members of and participate in regional entrepreneurship support organizations like MBL, the Virginia Hispanic Chamber, the Central Virginia African-American Chamber of Commerce, Hopewell Downtown and others
--become a student member of the national Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization (CEO) with membership dues paid by the VSU Center for Entrepreneurship,
--participate in the Center's and the Center's partners' entrepreneurship bazaars so students can feature their products and services, and
--participate in student and community pitch competitions sponsored by the VSU Center for Entrepreneurship and its regional partners.
